Our Mission: Creating Futures for Individuals with Autism

Who We Are: A private organization that employs the latest Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) research findings in crafting tailored treatment programs that address the needs of infants, children and adults with developmental disabilities, as well as young children who are at risk.  We also provide comprehensive training and support for families, schools, and communities.

Our Approach: AST’s programs are based on well-researched and highly effective Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods which are the most scientifically validated treatment approaches, have the strongest and broadest evidence-base, and considered the gold standard for individuals with autism. Our family-focused therapy programs are designed to teach language, social, self-help, and other skills within natural daily activities and family routines in the home, school and/or community.

Our Services: “Catch up” program for infants and toddlers, early intervention therapy programs, play-based therapy, positive behavior support, social skills groups, school-based treatment programs, therapy programs for adolescents and adults teaching independence, speech and occupational therapy, programs for feeding problems, consultations, and comprehensive support for teachers and families.

Our Customers and Clients: Individuals with developmental needs across the lifespan (infancy through adulthood), school districts, organizations that coordinate state funding, insurance companies, teachers, parents, families and community members.

Available Funding: Services are provided through state funding (which varies by state), school districts, insurance carriers (such as Tricare, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, etc.), as well as private pay.

Employees: The company has over 500 employees including an unprecedented number of Ph.D.’s and over 60 Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists on staff.

Southern California: Greater San Diego, Orange County, Greater Los Angeles, San Gabriel Valley, Inland Empire, San Fernando Valley, Antelope Valley.

Northern California: Santa Clara County and East Bay including but not limited to El Cerrito, Richmond, Berkeley, Oakland, Fremont, Livermore.
