Albert Knapp
Behavioral Consultant
Albert Knapp received his M.A. in Psychology from Pepperdine University and is currently enrolled in a Clinical Psy.D. program. He is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over five years of experience working with children and adolescents with autism, mental retardation, and severe emotional and/or behavioral problems. He has extensive training in various Applied Behavior Analysis techniques, such as Discrete Trial Training, Pivotal Response Training, and Positive Behavior Support. His expertise includes classroom consultation, teacher and para-educator training, parent education, and clinical supervision. His research interests include using self-management techniques and functional communication as replacement behaviors for dually maintained behaviors. Albert has also taught graduate level Applied Behavior Analysis coursework at National University.
