Prior to joining AST in 2009, Meredith served as Vice President of Finance at Physician Associates (PA), an independent physician association located in Pasadena. At PA, Meredith streamlined the accounting, reporting and budgetary functions, led strategic initiatives as a member of the senior management team and advised the chief executives and board of directors in completing a merger transaction with HealthCare Partners in 2008. Meredith also served as a member of the executive team that led a one year integration effort following the merger. Prior to PA, Meredith was Controller at CareOregon, a nonprofit Medicaid and Medicare managed health plan serving over 100,000 members in Oregon. At CareOregon, Meredith played a key role in leading the organization through a financial turnaround and forming a subsidiary insurance company to serve Medicare members. Meredith began her career at Moss Adams, a regional public accounting firm. At Moss Adams, Meredith was a Senior Audit Manager with a focus on the healthcare sector. She received her B.A. from University of Oregon College of Business, Summa Cum Laude, and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in California and Oregon.
